Scrub up sustainable

I’ve spent way too long trying to find a good sustainable alternative to the green and yellow scourers that are so bad for the environment. I’ve tried five diffferent types of scourer alternatives. By and large they work and are okay etc but I have finally found one that really suits my needs, lasts, and is easy to buy online.

The scourers from Arya work a treat! And helpfully they look a lot like the regular scourers too. The soft sponge part is made of wood pulp and the scourer bit is made from coconut fibres.

These thicker sponges from Argan Sea are even better! As well as slight cheaper which is a plus. Have a try and see what you think. I got these from Amazon as they don’t have another distributor in the UK yet.

I look forward to a time when I don’t have to scour the internet to get sustainable alternatives. Hopefully the mainstream supermarkets get stocked up soon!
